About

Geraldine is an award winning artist whose work is about conveying the discoveries we make through physics and capturing the human effort and emotion of those involved.

She has been selected for multiple art awards, most recently the Milton Keynes 2009 UK Painting Prize and survey of contemporary British Painting (judged by Michael Stanley and Phoebe Unwin) and has been awarded two significant personal development grants from the UK Arts Council, to support the development of work through mentoring, financial support and exhibitions.

Geraldine is collaborating on an ongoing project called "Beyond Ourselves" at www.beyondourselves.eu which explores the different perspectives that science and particularly physics gives to the world around us. The “Beyond Ourselves” exhibition launches in Nottingham during the British Art Fair this November and then travels to the Royal Society in London in February 2011. The other artists are: Chooc Ly Tan, Sam Knowles, Chris Dunseath and Agata Agatowska and the curator is Ingrid Hinton. Sponsors and partners are: The Arts Council, The Royal Society, The London Science Museum and The National Physics Laboratories.

Her recent collaborations have included theoretical physicists from Berkeley and Imperial College.
